TEI Reform
Harris Park Community Centre was established in 2002. The aim and focus of the Centre has always been to provide a place where community members could seek help and help each other. The NSW government funds the centre’s activities, through the Department of Communities and Justice, while Parramatta City Council provide the facilities here at Harris Park, at a sponsored rate. As the local area has changed over the years, so has the centre evolved accordingly. The community centre has been moving towards this direction with a greater focus on children, young parents and families. This is in line with the funding body’s priorities of Targeted Earlier Intervention Reform. We have in June 2020, been awarded a straight 5 year contract to continue this crucial work here at the community centre.
